A simple, yet often overlooked, element of page layout is object and text alignment. The term alignment refers not only to how objects are positioned with each other on a page, but also to how text is positioned, or justified, in a text box. When you align objects, you need to be aware of how they relate to each other horizontally, vertically, or both. Using proper alignment, you can make seemingly unrelated objects appear as parts of the same whole.
