FERC gives PacifiCorp formula rate case parties more time to resolve differences

The wide range of views among parties to a PacifiCorp formulanrate case prompted FERC last week to accept the utility’snproposed changes to its tariff, suspend the rate filing for thenmaximum five-month period and order an evidentiary hearingnwhile stakeholders try to work out their differences.nThe August 5 decision (ER11-3643) injects some uncertaintyninto the fate of the PacifiCorp tariff proposal.
