Finding fault in objections the New England Power Generators Association raised over certain elements of an ISO New England tariff filing, FERC earlier in the month accepted the proposal impacting the grid operator’s next capacity auction. ISO-NE in January proposed tariff changes (ER17-795) to update the cost of new entry, net CONE and offer review trigger price (ORTP) values it intends to use for its 12th forward capacity auction, scheduled to be held in February 2018 for the 2021-22 delivery year.
