New York gives second notice of incomplete application to Millennium project

Millennium Pipeline is "cautiously optimistic" about New York's review of a water permit for the 7.8-mile, 233 MMcf/d Eastern System Upgrade, in spite of a second notice of incomplete application issued by state regulators May 25. The small project is expected to increase production takeaway from the constrained northeast Pennsylvania Marcellus basin, while also opening up access to lower-cost shale gas for shippers and endusers on Algonquin Gas Transmission.
