As Oklahoma gas plays gain momentum, Cheniere files to build 1.4 Bcf/d Midship pipeline

While the Permian Basin's big draw is its oil, the Anadarko Basin's SCOOP and STACK plays are luring new players with natural gas, including the filing with FERC last week of a 1.4 Bcf/d pipeline proposal. Bolstered by demand for the power generation fuel and feedgas for LNG production, Enable Midstream Partners and Cheniere Energy are among a growing list of operators that are eyeing expansion opportunities in the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma.
