Commission OKs NGPL rate cut, alters standard of review for non-settling entities

Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America has won approval for a settlement that would phase in a 6.5% rate cut and bar rate changes through July 2, 2022. Over objections of the Kinder Morgan unit, FERC agreed to lower the standard of review for non-settling parties that may wish to challenge rates sooner than that, while indicating it would tread carefully in reviewing such requests.
