Spire seeks to kick off review of certificate on remand as it awaits winter relief

Spire STL Pipeline has formally asked the Federal Energy RegulatoryCommission to reissue certificates earlier struck by a US appealscourt, seeking a review to consider evidence of need for the naturalgas pipeline Spire says has been demonstrated over the past twoyears of operational experience.The request for a longer-term certificate on remand from thecourt, posted on FERC’s website Nov. 12, comes as Spire eagerly awaitsstopgap FERC action on a separate track to ensure continuedoperation of the 65-mile, 400,000 Dt/d pipeline through this winter’sheating season (CP17-40).
