Delaware Riverkeeper urges FERC to rethink construction OK for Adelphia Phase 2

Delaware Riverkeeper Network has asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to rescind its authorization to proceed with construction of the second phase of the Adelphia Gateway project until an environmental impact statement is completed covering the entire pipeline project, along with the pending Marcus Hook Electric Compression Project. Once completed, the 84-mile Adelphia project will connect to the Texas Eastern Transmission and Columbia Gas Transmission systems and move gas from the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, area to the Philadelphia region.
