US lends support to Mountain Valley Pipeline in litigation over forest crossing

In a positive legal sign for the Mountain Valley Pipeline, the US has stuckwith its support for decisions made by federal agencies late in the Trumpadministration to grant authorizations for the 303-mile, 2 Bcf/d naturalgas pipeline project to cross 3.5 miles of national forest land.At issue is one of several legal challenges facing the project, whichwould move Appalachian Basin gas to Mid-Atlantic markets.
