Acknowledging cybersecurity threats to power grid, House passes three bills

The House of Representatives advanced three bills to help strengthen the nations power system against cybersecurity threats. The trio of proposals cleared the House Energy and Commerce Committee in July 2019 as part of a package of 10 bills focused on improving the energy sectors cybersecurity resilience and building efficiency. On Sept. 29, the entire chamber passed the three bills by voice vote.
