China on Tuesday said it will start accepting applications for tariffexemptions on 696 US-origin goods—including crude oil, LNG andrefined products—in a move that will allow it to meet purchase targetsunder the recent US-China trade deal.Other commodities eligible for exemptions include petrochemicals,agricultural products, coal and metals, according to a statement by theState Council’s Tariff Commission published Tuesday on the Ministry ofFinance website.
