Lakes Charles LNG asks FERC for more time to complete export terminal

Backers of the Lake Charles LNG export terminal have updated theirproject timeline with federal regulators, saying they anticipatecompletion of construction as early as the second half of 2025.The schedule for the Louisiana project, with approved capacity ofmore than 2 Bcf/d, runs six months or so longer than a previous targetof late 2024 to early 2025 listed by project partner Energy Transfer onits website earlier this year.
