Novel Drilling Technology for Geothermal; Oil and Gas Industries

Drilling of the geothermal or oil and gas wells in the hard rock environment is a costly part of project development. It could represent even more than 30% of its total cost. High costs are caused by fast equipment wear (drilling bits) and due to the long duration it takes to complete the drilling process. Due to this, the development of new; more durable, and faster methods of drilling is a crucial need for geothermal and unconventional gas industries.
