Body-focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) are conditions leading to a variety of mental and neurological illnesses, including autism, Tourette syndrome, and Parkinson's disease. BFRBs include urges like biting, picking and pulling that are bound to cause irreversible damage to the patient's health and mental wellbeing over a period of time. It is estimated that globally 1 in 20 people are suffering from BFRBs, which are mostly ignored as bad habits.
