Mobility Management for Enterprises

The proliferation of handheld devices has left enterprises to allow their employee to bring personal devices to their workplace. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy has been adopted by several companies in order to increase efficiency and productivity. BYOD enables employees to access corporate content from anywhere at any time, resulting in information breach if a reliable and secured connection does not install properly. Also, the proliferation of connected devices to a company's server could overwhelm the server and decease its performance. This would have a major negative impact on the company's operational system. Moreover, employees might bring more than one device, thereby adding to the complexity of managing multiple devices. In addition, there is a lack of device standardization as the devices run on different operating systems such as, Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Blackberry, and Windows Phone.. Hence, there is a need among enterprises for the require the right tools and applications for addressing these challenges before adopting BYOD.
