The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that globally about 390 million people are affected every year by dengue, which is one of the leading causes of deaths in developing/tropical countries. Controlling mosquitoes that are prevalent across Asian counties would be an effective solution to reduce dengue outbreaks.
