Flexicon demonstrates proven bulk materials handling technology alongside new developments at PPMA

The versatility of its flexible screw conveyors and pneumatic conveyors will be the main focus of the Flexicon Europe stand B16 as this year's PPMA exhibition, where visitors will have the opportunity to see both conveying systems in action. The company is also taking the opportunity to introduce to show visitors its UK Test Laboratory Service where it can validate the performance of both pneumatic and flexible screw conveyor systems using a customer's actual bulk materials. Such a major contributor to improving bulk material flow is Flexicon's flexible screw conveyor, a totally enclosed system preventing contamination of the product and plant as well as preserving the moisture and temperature levels of the materials being conveyed. As the name implies the Flexicon flexible screw conveyor can move material vertically, horizontally or to any angle - over, under or around obstructions. During operation the flexible screw self-centres as it rotates and the gently rolling action prevents separation of the blend throughout the entire length of trie conveyor.
