Yamato Scale Dataweigh appoints new MD to drive UK business

Yamato Scale Dataweigh, the world's leading manufacturer of multihead weighers and checkweighers, has announced the appointment of Neil Fowell as the new Managing Director of its UK, Scandinavian, Middle East and South African business. Neil will take charge of the Leeds-based business replacing Mr Watanabe who has returned to the group headquarters in Japan. His first major project will be overseeing the launch of the company's new Omega Series Multihead weigher which was introduced onto the UK market at Interpack in May. With over 20 years experience in the packaging industry, Neil joins Yamato from Bapco Closures, a leading manufacturer of innovative closure systems, where he led Global Sales and Strategic Marketing across the regions.
