Fortress establishes manufacturing facility in the UK to facilitate further European growth

Metal detector specialist has invested £2million and customers benefit from extra production capacity, more flexibility, shorter lead times & reduced costs. In a total investment worth some £2million, Fortress Technology Europe has confirmed it is now manufacturing high performance 'Phantom' metal detectors for the UK and European food and pharmaceutical industries from its new 10,500sq ft state-of-the-art facility located in Banbury, Oxfordshire. In addition, the company has more than trebled its headcount during the past 12 months, launched a raft of new products, made several high ranking promotions and invested heavily in skills training.
