Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, BioCote has achieved a 15 per cent increase in revenue over the last year, with customer numbers on the rise. An increased focus on hygiene, cleanliness and infection control in the UK and overseas means a growing number of companies are using BioCote's technology. In the food and catering industry, BioCote's antimicrobial additives are integrated into food contact products - such as meat processing equipment, transportation crates, temperature measurement devices and packaging materials - during manufacturing, providing permanent protection against bacteria, which can have negative effects such as odours, staining and mould and may cause food spoilage.
