IBM Scrutinizes India Staff

IBM is opening two outsourcing centers in In-dia and now faces the challenge of staffing them with qualified people in the face of booming demand there for IT pros. The company opened a center last week in No-ida, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh; it's planning another center in that area by midyear. Both will employ about 3,000 people, giving IBM more than 70,000 employees in India working out of about 20 sites in six cities.
