When you walk into Building Q on Cisco's sprawling San Jose campus, you're not quite sure if you're going to buy a router, squeeze in a massage, or get a medical checkup. I got the checkup in a 1-year-old operation that combines a fitness center, child care center, health center, and pharmacy. Amid the tumultuous national healthcare debate, it's difficult to tell whether Cisco's large-scale effort will become a model for large companies, but it's instructive if for no other reason than to showcase different technological possibilities.
