The end may be near rnfor Cassatt, a startup launched six years ago to develop data center automation software. Cassatt has had difficulty getting IT departments to license its Active Response software, which can cost up to $2,500 per server. Having burned through nearly $100 million in investment funding, Cassatt is "close to the end," CEO Bill Coleman told Forbes last week. Cassatt marketing VP Jay Fry says it has "one or two flickers of interest" from potential acquirers.
