Special Section on Best Papers PROMISE 2009

摘要

Welcome to the Special Section of IST which focuses on useful, verifiable, and repeatable models in software engineering. These two papers are extended version of papers that appeared at the Predictor Models in Software Engineering (PROMISE) 2009 conference co-located with ICSE in Vancouver. Inaugurated in 2004, the PROMISE project believes that Software management decisions should be driven by empirically-based models that are robust and reliable. The intent of these models is to a gain deeper and understanding of the software development process.
