Since 1997 the International Conference on Evaluation & Assessment in Software Engineering (EASE) has provided a forum where academics can present their latest research, and where issues related to all forms of empirical and evaluation studies in software engineering can be discussed. This conference has established itself as one of the most important venues for the empirical software engineering community.
