FIRST CALL FOR DISPLAY INDUSTRY AWARD NOMINATIONS

SID's Display Information Awards (DIAs), which recognize the best displays, display components, and display applications introduced to the market during the previous calendar year, are now open for nominations. As the display industry's most prestigious honors, the DIAs are announced and presented each spring at Display Week. In 2019, the DIA winners were Apple's Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxid (LTPO) OLED Display, Samsung's MicroLED Wall, Sony's Crystal LED Display System, Dexerials' Antireflection (AR) Films for Piano Black Design, Schott's High-Refractive Index Glass Wafers, Lenovo's Yoga Book, and Japan Display's (JDI's) Curved LCDs for Automotive Dashboards. This roster effectively represented the depth and scale of display products, in terms of materials, applications, and technical execution. "The committee is looking forward to seeing next year's nominations," says Wei Chen, chair of the Display Industry Awards Committee.
