High dynamic range (HDR) offers a wealth of opportunities, in terms of immersion and innovation in storytelling and special effects. But what does it entail, exactly? Here, in the second of a two-part series, we consider the concepts, tools, and specifications that are (and are not yet) in place to generate and broadcast visually compelling HDR content.
