In Announcing the winners of the SID/Information Display Display of the Year Awards (DYA), the Display of the Year Awards Committee (DYAC) - an international committee comprised of leading members of the technical display community and distinguished technology journalists - is honoring six exceptional achievements in display technology, display products, and display materials or components. The committee's deliberation extended from late May through late September. To be considered for a 2003 award, it was necessary for candidate products to have their commercial introductions, i.e., to be available for sale either to OEMs or end users, between July 1, 2002, and June 30, 2003 - a requirement that was strictly adhered to.
