Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) is a Canadian-based international NGO that provides communities with the tools and capacities to promote locally-driven social and economic development through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). DOT's customized programs combine people, processes, tools, global support, training, and web-based knowledge-sharing so that economies and communities in need can best leverage technology — specifically, computers, hardware, software, the Internet, and digital communication tools - to meet their goals for personal and community development.
