Editorial: What Digital Divide?

The true extent of the so-called 'digital divide' has been questioned on several occasions in previous Information Development editorials. This view finds new support in the World Information Society Report 2007: beyond WSIS, published by the International Telecommunication Union and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and briefly reviewed in the New Publications section of this issue.
