Information Society on the move: ITU issues WSIS stocktaking report. The WSIS Stocktaking 2008 Report, an effective tool for fostering development of the information society, is an update on the activities undertaken by governments, business, civil society and other organizations aimed at the achievement of the objectives and targets of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) from end 2005 until mid 2008.
