Information Visualization: Design for Interaction

摘要

Data is omnipresent and pervades our daily lives and routines on several levels. The core challenges are to develop strategies, accessible tools and useful applications for filtering, browsing and presenting data in readable and meaningful structures for humans. Reflecting Robert Spences definition of information visualization as "development of a mental model of data" (preface), the emphasis of the present book is on data structures and applications of computer-generated and interactive information visualization interwoven with examples from the real world.
