The online version of this publication describes itself as "an academic journal intent on demystifying the design process." The printed issue, or at least the downloadable PDF, lists several additional goals, including: "to communicate, in writing and visual documentation, the nature of design thinking for solving problems of varying degrees of scale and complexity;" "to make transparent the messy and complex processes of designing;" ..."to demonstrate world-class design pedagogy" - not exactly humble, coming from the pedagogues themselves, but Current does at least come close to reaching these goals.
