Getting to know yourself

I like to think of industrial and systems engineers as "people" engineers. We have to apply proven engineering methods to solve problems while also trying to understand and manage around the psychological aspects of how people approach work (and life, for that matter). The math may appear less involved, but the performance-influencing variables and performance-defining algorithms are often much more numerous, complex and undefined.
