MEMBER SECRETARY VISITS CSB UNITS AT KRISHNAGIRI

Smt. Ishita Roy, Member Secretary, CSB visited P2 BSF, Krishnagiri on January 11,2013. She visited silkworm rearing section, mulberry gardens and P1 Grainage and reviewed the activities undertaken by the P2 Farm. Shri N. Ravi, Scientist-C explained to the Member Secretary about the rearing performance of the MCON-4, a new mulivoltine race being maintained at the farm forthe supply of P2 seed cocoons to the SSPCs of southern states and forthe supply of F1 hybrid seed for the needs of sericulture farmers of West Bengal. She also visited the mulberry garden at the farm.
