MODIS-Aqua has shown the least Root Mean Square Error (log scale, linear scale) of (0.129, 0.042) mg/m~3 with respect to in-situ measurements followed by MODIS- Terra (0.139, 0.043) mg/m~3 and OCM-2 (0.264, 0.065) mg/m~3. MODIS-Aqua is also having the least Mean Relative Percentage Difference (MRPD) (6.33%) and Mean Absolute Percentage Difference (MAPD) (14.47%) while OCM-2 is giving highest MRPD and MAPD of 88.71% and 89.49% with respect to in-situ observations. Inter-sensor comparison results show that MODIS-Aqua and MODIS-Terra are relatively more consistent with each other (MAPD-12.49%; MRPD- 9.86%) as compared to OCM-2 sensor. Overall, error is close to the retrieval limits of all three sensors.
