The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), which provides the U.S. military and other federal agencies with logistics, acquisition, and technical services, is taking a script out of the CSI television franchise as it looks to combat counterfeit parts in its supply chain. Counterfeiting is a major concern for the DLA, especially within its microelectronics sourcing and distribution activities.
