Softeon, a supply chain software provider, released a new warehouse management system (WMS) that provides warehouse and distribution center managers end-to-end process automation. The WMS contains forecasting, order management, and route accounting solutions, and links picking and loading operations to enable product-sequenced truck loading. Logistics IT provider AEB updated its ASSIST4 Monitoring & Alerting solution. The new version texts and emails alerts when delays in the supply chain occur, and contains a message cockpit that logs all text and email alerts. The software also allows the user to notify consignees when goods are issued, and email customs documents to brokers when shipments are ready.
