Porsche selected Georgia's Port of Brunswick as its port of entry into the United States for the 918 Spyder hybrid. The automobiles are manufactured at Porsche's plant in Stuttgart, Germany, then shipped through Brunswick to East Coast markets. As a result of expanding its contract with Ocean Spray, third-party logistics company NFI will construct a 980,000-square-foot distribution center in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley to serve the beverage company's local just-in-time manufacturing facility. The DC is scheduled for completion in summer 2014.
