CMA CGM launched the Med Gulf Ecuador service to provide a direct connection between the Mediterranean Sea, the Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador. The new line is designed for banana exports, linking Ecuador, one of the world's largest banana producers, to Malta in 19 days. Southeastern Freight Lines, a provider of regional LTL transportation services, now delivers door-to-door cross-border between Canada and the United States. The new service lets shippers trace shipments from pickup to delivery, under a single invoice.
