Some curves cause problems when they are wet. That is the case with a street in the Camarillo, CA business district where the 45 MPH speed limit is not a problem until it rains. During the past five years there have been 10 solo vehicle run off the road collisions that occurred when the pavement was wet, even though the curve is posted with large warning signs, 35 MPH advisory speed signs and slippery when wet signs.
