As your new International President, let me start off by saying, this is not the way I figured it was going to happen. Covid-19 has changed all of our lives. The BOD met in Reno, Nevada in February for the mid-winter meeting and planning for the upcoming conference scheduled for July. At that time everything was going as planned. Then about halfway in March the Covid-19 outbreak took a hold on all of us. International Headquarters and the BOD were still moving forward with plans for the in-person conference. As time went on the conference in Reno would be cancelled and we started looking for other options. Covid-19 added extra stress to everyone. Most of us are considered essential employees. With the guidelines, Section meetings, travel, schools, certification renewal classes and training were all cancelled or put on hold. Now what?
