Internal Communications in Traffic Signal Control The RS232 Standard, Part Ⅱ

In the earlier article, RS232 control signals were named and discussed, together with a brief discussion of their operation. This article will discuss this handshaking operation in greater detail along with some information on protocols and what is necessary to set up communications using the standard.
