NAB 96: A quick look at a vast exhibition

We all know that broadcasting exhibitions are getting bigger and bigger, but that knowledge didn't make life any easier for the 92,333 visitors to the US National Association of Broadcasters conference and exhibition in Las Vegas this year. NAB96 was spread over two sites a mile apart, with shuttle busses running between the two, and with some manufacturers running their own parallel demos in nearby hotels, there was no way that you could see everything within the four days of the show. The following comments are merely the snippetts from one man's notebook, and there are many other different stories that any visitor to NAB might tell.
