Pompey Recreated

A highly skilled and dedicated team known as the 3D Visualisation Group, based in the University of Warwick's School of Theatre Studies, have recreated the ancient Roman Theatre of Pompey - the largest, and arguably most important, theatre ever built - using detailed architectural models, real-time navigable models and scaled panorama backdrops. These are all projected onto a four-screen Harkness Easi-Rect system which utilises a mix of Polacoat rear projection and Spectral 240 3D effects surfaces.
