Albert Abramson MBKS 1922 - 2003

Television historian Albert Abramson died on Wednesday, 24 December 2003. He was among the most important chroniclers of the technical development of the medium, and had authored a host of important articles as well as four seminal books on the subject, the most recent published less than a year before his death. Abramson was born on 9 June 1922 in Chicago but grew up in Los Angeles. After he served with the Army Air Force during World War Ⅱ (where he first learned electronics), he studied at the film school and took an undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California.
