Knockout ATM Switch with Two Speedup Factors under Non-uniform Traffic with Variable Hot-spot Ports

We propose knockout ATM switches with two speedup factors under non-uniform traffic with variable hot-spot ports in order to handle flexibly when the number and port of hot-spot change. The proposed models have a function that the maximum cell transmission number called a speedup factor L_2 is set to be large when the arrival cells are more than L1. By using this function, it is useful to decrease the cell loss probability of hot-spot ports.
