Special Section on Advanced Technologies Emerging Mainly from the 21st Workshop on Circuits and Systems in Karuizawa

摘要

The 21st workshop on Circuits and Systems in Karuizawa was held successfully in Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan during April 21st to 22nd, 2008. Since 1987, the workshops have been focused on fundamental and application aspects of hot topics in broader circuits and systems including nonlinear problems, signal processing, VLSI design technologies.rnThe Special Section put emphasis mainly on advanced technologies on Circuit and Systems emerging from the 21st workshop. The topics of interest within the scope of this Special Section include Nonlinear problems, Numerical analysis on circuits, Analog circuits, Digital signal processing, VLSI design technology, and Discrete systems theory. Not only the presenters of the workshop but also other researchers in the fields submitted their research contributions to the Special Section. After careful reviewing for 49 submitted full papers and two letters, the editorial committee selected only 24 full papers that should activate theoretical and/or practical research of the fields.
