Evaluation of Manager-Based Architecture for Intrusion Detection System in Ad Hoc Networks

摘要

Ad hoc network faces more security problems that we need to deploy intrusion detection system in this network. However, due to its special characteristics, further consideration in its system architecture is necessary. We proposed a Manager-based architecture to increase the efficiency of intrusion detection system in ad hoc network in term of fast detection speed and low network overhead. We performed the evaluation through computer simulation to verify the validity of the proposal method in both static and dynamic environment. We compare it with existing works and the result verifies the efficiency of our proposal method.
