Coordinated Multi-Point Transmission/Reception and Relay Techniques in LTE-Advanced

摘要

3rd Generation Partnership Prqject（3GPP）において、Release8規格として策定されたLong－Tbrm Evolution（LTE）の更なる無線アクセス技術の拡張のためにLTE－AdvancedのフィージビリティスタディがRelease10及び以降での規格策定を目標に進められている．本稿では、LTE－Advanced向けに検討されている2つの鍵となる技術、Coordinated multi-point（CoMP）送受信技術およびリレー（Relay）技術について概説する．%Feasibility study of Long-Term Evolution (LTE)-Advanced has been started as Release 10 and beyond in 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) for the further enhanced radio-access technologies of LTE based on Release 8 specification. This paper presents two potential key technologies, coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission and reception and Relay techniques, to be exploited for LTE- Advanced system studied in 3 GPP.
